    These sessions are focused on the modern online gambling space, including unregulated crypto currency casinos, neurodivergent peoples propensities towards gambling addiction and the intersection between young people - video games and gambling.

    These sessions focus on the criminal justice program, how to make neurodivergent friendly holding cells etc as well as best practice for dealing with neurodivergent people throughout the criminal justice sector

Online Extremism and Autism

In this session, Alistair will explain the myriad of factors that lead to autistic disenfranchisement. Then we explore the numerous vulnerabilities that members of the autistic community may have, which can be exploited to indoctrinate them to extremist ideologies.

We then look at the history of autism and extremism, viewing examples of historical events that were conducted by those indoctrinated to forms of hate online.

We will explore a number of hateful ideologies including, The far Right, Incel subculture, radical islam and young people who are fascinated with violence.

Finally we explore warning signs and best practice for referral, explaining how to have difficult conversations with young people who may be interacting with extremism and how to refer to those who may be currently engaging with extremism.

Whole School Package

In this whole school package, we spend a day embedded within your institution. Delivering Media/Digital literacy interventions to young people in small groups, we equip young people with the ability to discern nefarious content online. To discuss and examine how content is made, what it is designed for you to feel and why it was created.

Then we deliver a session to Parents and Carers, explaining the myriad of digital harms their children may experience online, while fostering a positive environment free from digital exclusion. We equip parents with the ability to recognise the positive aspects of the online world and the warning signs that may occur with more extreme content.

Finally we deliver a full school CPD to members of staff focusing on, online extremism, we delve into the factors leading to autistic disenfranchisement and the vulnerabilities exploited by extremist ideologies, exploring historical events and various hate ideologies such as the far right, incel subculture, radical Islam, and youth fascinated with violence. The session will conclude with insights on identifying warning signs, referral best practices, and conducting difficult conversations with young people engaging with extremism.

Digital Gambling Harms

We deliver training sessions focused on the intersection between young people and gambling.

Focusing on online gambling harms including, black market gambling, influencers/content creators relationship with gambling and the modern scope of crypto currency gambling. 

We break down these complex topics, looking at the increasing number of young people engaging with illegal gambling and explaining how their relationship with online content can create conducive environments for gambling addiction to occur.

Particularly regarding the neurodivergent community. Understanding the modern landscape of illegal gambling can help us to combat its harms.
